Happy ThanksGiving Eve to you! Thankful for 2018. Gratitude, it seems so easy. I’m thankful for [fill in the blank]. But you can take it a step further and make gratitude into a lifestyle. I’m a member of LinkedUp Church in Powder Springs, Georgia. My pastor once spoke on gratitude and making it a lifestyle by focusing on the good and pleasant things in your life daily. You can start off with being happy with what you already have. Clean water to drink, electricity, a roof over your head – the things we tend to take for granted.
I’m in my early 40’s with so much more I want to accomplish. I can’t rush it. (I have to keep telling myself this) I’m thankful for 2018 because I am content with my life right now. I’m trying more and more to be aware of the experiences I’m having now, in this time of my life. An education, job, family, friends, travel experiences or simply being satisfied with my life in general.
Gratitude doesn’t pay the bills, nor does it cure a broken leg. But it helps me to live my life in a calm way, to enjoy it to the fullest and give and have relationships with more meaning. It’s an inner source that helps me and inspire me to blossom.
Thank you for stopping by!
