It’s a joy when someone ask me where I purchased what I’m wearing. “I Got It At Goodwill!” I enjoy uttering those words. I’m wearing an off the shoulder top with floral skirt from my neighborhood Goodwill in Marietta, Georgia. My skirt and top is under $15.00 in total. The price may be under $15.00 but I feel like a million dollar bill.
Shopping in thrift stores is one of my favorite hobbies. Although I grew up with my mother taking me to thrift stores and yard sales as a kid, I didn’t really start appreciating them (and shopping at them myself) until my son’s college tuitution bill came in. LOL! Now, I’m so hooked that I have a hard time justifying why I should look for certain items anywhere else. So if you’re trying to save money or just want to try something new check out your local thrift scene. You do not have to spend a ton of money to look fabulous!
