One of the many reasons I enjoy 365Dresses Facebook Group is that I get to share styles of the many women that support our group. It is a pleasure to feature Stylist Oneika B., one of the many women I enjoy watching share her creative fashion and style.
Oneika B. was born and raiseb in Greenville, South Carolina as the only child. After graduating in 2000 from high school, she joined the Army.
“After my training my first duty station was in South Korea where I met my best friend now my husband and had three children over the years. Sadly in 2009, I had to depart from the Army on a honorable medical discharge after serving for 8.5 years. When I left the military I decided to finished my Bachelors degree in General Management.”
Oneika says she’s always been fashion-conscious from a very young age. She’s watched her mother and how her mother dresses and how much style her mother had and still has to this day. Now that I look back at my old pictures I was one stylish little girl. So fashion is in my blood. “I am a Virginia Fashion Consultant/Stylist; styling for any one. I Style for fashion shows, Photoshoots, and I am a Personal Shopper as well.”
Oneika’s goal is to make fashion simple and seamless. “I have been exposed to a variety of styles and cultures that I incorporate in my style everyday. So I would say I am an “Out-of-the-box” dresser that loves to be different and have a love for vintage pieces. I want people to look at me and say I never thought to put that together and feel like they can push the limits with their style and make it their own.”
It is Oneika’s love for fashion that brought me to build a fashion empire. She is also a Shoedazzle and Just Fab Ambassador which allows her to incorporated their brands with her style.
ONEIKA’S KEY FASHION TIPS
Key fashion tips are always men and women to have a (1) pair of black and nude shoes/heels; AND (2) white shirt (collar or t-shirt) which are just the basics needed in a wardrobe! (3) Also get a shoe that gives a pops in color either printed pattern or a bold color.
