Modest and stylish is how I describe Sana’s style. Sana shared her style in 365Dresses Facebook Group and we were all inspired. I love all of this! Sana has a fashion blog “The Thrifty Hijabi” where she take you to her wonderful world of thrifting and all things thrifty!!
Sana Muhammad aka The Thrifty Hijabi. Is a Baltimore native who has lived in Brooklyn, New York for the past 12 years and recently moved to Georgia. Sana discribes herself as a pretty colorful person and given that didn’t happen until moving to New York City. Through exposure to all kinds of nationalities and especially those of the african, caribbean and indian cultures is where she really developed a strong love for color. Sana is an aspiring entrepreneur with a love for all things thrifty and fashionable. She would describe her style as modestly organized chaos.
“As a muslim woman finding clothes that are both fashionable and modest can require a little bit of imagination at times. I love layering, mixing and matching different elements of style like casual and dressy or edgy with sophisticated. It’s very normal to see me wear a pretty dress with a pair of cute jeans or a funky jacket. I love pieces with versatility that can be worn up or down. I love vintage pieces especially dresses from the 60s-70s era or pieces that have that timeless old school charm.”. – Sana Muhammad
