Shantile Franklin is the owner of Divine Style Fashion Styling and Image Consulting where her goal is to ELEVATE the STYLE in you!
“We show BOSS ladies how they can have fabulous style in vintage and thrifted pieces” says Shantile.
“I have been an avid thrifter for thirty years or more and was taught thrifting by my mother because she was a thrift lover. So, after becoming an adult with growing children it became a way of life. It was a way for my then husband and I to save money but still create style for our children. Now, I can’t see myself anywhere but a thrift store!”

Describe Your Style
“My style is a Vintage, Classic, Eclectic. I know that’s a lot to say but my style has never been able to be described in one word or fit into any box.
I truly love vintage pieces and hunt them down when I’m on a thrift excursion. I gravitate to classic pieces that speak to the grown woman in me, but I also have that wacky and weird eclectic vibe that makes people wonder who is she and where is she going!”

Who and What Inspires Your Style”
“My style is inspired by so many but just to name a few, Solange, June Ambrose, Tracey Ellis Ross (known); MiMi Irving, Tiffany M. Battle (additional women who can slay any stage)”
What Are (3) Three Pieces Every Woman Should Have In Their Closet?”
It’s hard to narrow my list down to 3 pieces but I would say my top picks would be:
- A Denim Jacket- because it can be dressed up or down and will transition from season to season.
- A white blouse or Men’s shirt- because it goes with everything in your wardrobe but is also an anchor to building a wardrobe that will last a lifetime.
- Good shoes- I am such a shoe lover but investing in good shoes means comfort for your feet, less wear and tear, and style that will last you a lifetime.
Dresses: How does a dress make you feel?
“A dress always makes me feel classy and well put together whether I’m wearing heels or sneakers it will take me ANYWHERE!”
