I was found at Unclaimed Baggage….
I finally made it to Unclaimed Baggage Center in Alabama with Thrifting Atlanta bus tour . Unclaimed Baggage Center is known to many as the “place of lost luggage” Visitors can purchase literally any item that has been packed in a suitcase that was never claimed by its owner or left on an airplane.
It’s the only lost luggage store in the United States. Unclaimed Baggage Center is now one of Alabama’s top tourist attractions hosting over a million visitors a year from every state and over 40 foreign countries. In my opinion, I wouldn’t just call it a thrift store but more of an outlet of discounted goods and clothes, shoes and electronics. Don’t go there expecting it to be super cheap and then you won’t be disappointed. I scored dresses for under $10.00 each. To me, that’s a deal!
They do stock some interesting items. The book section itself is worth the stop if you are an avid reader because books on the best seller list are priced at $2-3. They have clean restrooms, a place to grab coffee, snacks, or a sandwich, and there’s even a sitting area on the porch if you want to hangout for a bit while you eat. It really is the perfect stopping place if you’ve been on the road for a while. I guarantee you’ll find something you like.
If you have the time for a fun filled day, you have to experience visiting Unclaimed Baggage Center! This place is amazing! I can’t believe all of the things you can find here, from casual and formal clothes to musical instruments, jewelry, sporting goods, and computers. I really can’t wait to visit again!
Thank you for stopping by!
